The Materials Technology Group (MTeG) conducts basic and applied research in materials synthesis, protection, characterizations and testing, participates in national higher education process by providing industrial and research training to students and support the national flagship research. Our objective is to acquire the knowledge that is necessary for the development of new materials and technology and its applicability through innovative accomplishment.
The group pursues its activity by engaging in long-term government prioritized research programmes in the framework of the Agency's main role, specific research projects funded by government and private bodies, development programmes and projects for the establishment and maintenance of the Agency's research infrastructure and provide services to the industry. The group has performed research on the topic of ceramic, metallurgy, corrosion, nano-material, radiation shielding, radiation damage, electronic material, nuclear instrumentation as well as modeling and simulation.
